Cheese and Potato Brownies
The rich, classic chocolate taste of brownies never fails to satisfy the tongues of food connoisseurs. There are various taste of brownies, including brownies with very dark chocolate, white chocolate, milk chocolate, brownies with ice cream, and many others.
But have you ever heard brownies that is made from cheese and potatoes ? The unique combination between white chocolate, cheese and organic potato is guaranteed to make you ask for more. And the plus side is the organic ingredients that can make you healthy.
Ingredients :
375 grams of organic potatoes
2 tablespoons of flour
½ teaspoon of baking powder
100 grams of butter
100 grams of castor sugar
3 organic eggs
75 grams of white chocolate, cut, and heat until it’s melted
50 grams of shredded cheddar cheese
How to make :
Peel and cut potatoes into small pieces. Wash them clean, boil, then mash them with spoon or smasher while they are still hot. Set them aside for a while.
Mix flour with baking powder thoroughly, then set them aside.
Mix butter with castor sugar using mixer until they become soft. Put the eggs into the bowl one by one while you keep mixing them using medium speed of the mixer.
Add the mixture of flour and softened potatoes, mix them thoroughly for a while. Add melted white chocolate, then mix them again until they are turned into soft batter.
Pour the batter into the baking pan while making sure that the surface is even. Pour some shredded cheddar cheese on the top of the batter as much you like it.
Bake the batter in hot oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Slice and serve them while they are still hot. This cheese and potato brownies is great to be eaten at tea time, to be served at a family gathering or any casual occasion.
